Further Notes:	Son of John Glynn (a Merchant) and Mary Anne Coyne. Was a Weights and Measures Inspector. Married Mary McMahon on 23rd August 1927 in St. Joseph's Church, Berkley Street, Dublin. Spent 30 years as a Sergeant in Castlebar, County Mayo and was actively involved in athletics in the area. Upon retirement resided at Mons Terrace, Castlebar. Died on 22nd January 1974 in St. Mary's Hospital in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. He is buried in Old Castlebar Cemetery.
