Gerard Joseph O'Shea was born in Roxboro Terrace, Limerick. He was the son of Alexander O'Shea (a Labourer) and Mary Moffett. Promoted to Sergeant in September 1923. Married Margaret O'Shea on 22nd June 1927 in Mount Melleray Church in Cappoquin, County Waterford. They had five children. Retired and resided in Dorgheda, County Louth. Died on 10th April 1993 in Drogheda. He is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Drogheda. |
