Thomas Joseph Benson was the son of John Benson (a Farmer) and Catherine Costello. Married Mary Ellen Carew on 26th August 1936 in St. Andrew's Church in Dublin. Transferred to Clare Division in 1941, where was food and drugs inspector as well as their expert at Fingerprinting in Ennistymon. Retired in April 1966. His brother was also a Garda: Francis Benson (Reg No. 7147) |
