| Further Notes: | Martin James Guilfoyle was born in Church Road, Ardnaree, Ballina. County Mayo. He was the son of Edward Guilfoyle (Constable RIC who died before Martin's birth) and Margaret Lenehan. Married Teresa Kelly on 8th September 1931 in St. Michael's Chapel in Moville, County Donegal. Upon his retirement he settled with his family at College Street inBallyshannon, County Donegal. Died suddenly while in New York on 10th October 1978. He is buried in Saint Joseph's The Rock Cemetery, Ballyshannon. | ||
